The Montrose Community Schools' Athletic Department will close for the summer at 3pm on Friday, June 20 and will re-open on Monday, August 4.

HIGH SCHOOL (grades 9-12) tryouts begin 8/11/2025: Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Sideline Cheer

MIDDLE SCHOOL (grades 7 & 8) tryouts begin 8/18/2025: Football, Girls Basketball, Cross Country, Sideline Cheer

A new sports physical, dated on or after April 15, 2025, must be submitted to the Athletic Department in the high school office prior to tryouts, along with an Athletic Participation Consent Form (can be submitted electronically during Online Registration). Upon receipt of required documents, academic eligibility will be confirmed and athletes will be given a “tryout card” to give to their coach in order to participate in tryouts and practices. Athletes cannot participate unless a valid, completed sports physical is submitted and a tryout card is given to them. Incomplete physicals will not be accepted.
